The 2018 Asian Para Games gets underway on Saturday 6th October in Jakarta, Indonesia. Ten men's teams and six women's teams will compete in the wheelchair basketball competition which runs for eight days.
In both competitions, the teams will be split across two pools followed by a knock out stage. China women will get the games underway against Iran in the opening game on day one at 9.30am, followed by Japan women up against Thailand. After three days of games the pool standings will be determined, deciding the quarter-final places, these will be followed by semi-finals and placing games.
The men's competition will see five days of games in the preliminary round, starting on the Sunday with Iraq up against China in pool A at 9.30am, followed by the placing games and semi-finals on Thursday 11th October and the competition coming to a finale on the Closing Ceremony day with the men's bronze and final game.
