Wheelchair basketball will be part of the 9th ASEAN Para Games which is set to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from the 17th September to the 23rd September.
This will be the sixth time that Malaysia has hosted the biennial SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games which will be branded as Kuala Lumpur 2017.
Five men’s teams Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Philippines and hosts Malaysia will take part in the wheelchair basketball competition.
The competition format will be a round robin format starting on the 18th September and playing across five days until the 22nd September.
