The road to the Ottawa 2026 IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships reaches a major milestone on 11 June as the Official Draw takes place in Ottawa, Canada.
The Draw will determine the group stage pools and each team's pathway through the competition ahead of the World Championships, which will be held from 9–19 September 2026.
A total of 336 athletes from 28 national teams (16 men's and 12 women's) will compete in Ottawa, with the event expected to welcome more than 100,000 spectators and generate significant economic impact for the region.
The full competition schedule will be released on 18 June, followed by the launch of single-session ticket sales on 25 June.
