IWBF has published a list of championships that are now available for interested parties to bid to host.
The 2019 IWBF Event Bid Book provides an overview of IWBF, their World Championships and qualification events, and information to assist you in understanding the bidding process.
There are fantastic opportunities for partner cities and countries to be part of the World Championships and qualification programme. As a host, you would become intrinsically associated with a dynamic, fast-paced and competitive sport which has more drama and excitement than any other sport on earth. It also offers a platform for the hosts to champion their commitment to both sport and inclusion.
The Bid Book also includes exciting information on the proposed inaugural 3x3 World Championships which IWBF wish to host in early 2020. Further information on the 3x3 World Championships can be found on the factsheet, which can be downloaded here.
A timeline of the bidding process is also enclosed, setting out deadlines for notification of intent to bid and final deadline of submissions.
IWBF would like to encourage any interested parties who are considering to bid for one of the championships to get in touch and share their thoughts and ideas, as we can support you through the bidding process.
