The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) is thrilled to announce a partnership with RGK Wheelchairs, a leading innovator in the world of made-to-measure sports and daily wheelchairs.


The IWBF is the global governing body for wheelchair basketball, dedicated to the development, promotion, and growth of this dynamic and competitive sport, as well as delivering World events. RGK Wheelchairs has long been recognized for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovation in manufacturing top-quality made-to-measure wheelchairs that cater to the diverse needs of wheelchair basketball athletes.


Launched at the recent 2023 IWBF Women’s U25 World Championship, the partnership represents a union of the two organizations, both with a shared commitment to the advancement of wheelchair basketball and the experiences of athletes at events.


IWBF Secretary General Norbert Kucera expressed his excitement about this collaboration, stating,

As part of this partnership, RGK Wheelchairs will provide support to the IWBF in various ways, including wheelchair servicing at World events offering players expert equipment support during tournaments. Both organisations will actively participate in promoting the sport of wheelchair basketball helping to raise awareness of both the work of IWBF and RGK.
