The wheelchair basketball competition at the Valledupar 2026 Para South American Games will take place from 2–8 July 2026 at the La Gota Fría Basketball Coliseum in Valledupar, Colombia.
Organised as part of the Para South American Games, taking place from 5–15 July 2026, the tournament will bring together the best wheelchair basketball nations from across South America in one of the region's most important competitions. With qualification for the Lima 2027 Parapan American Games at stake, every game will carry added significance as teams compete for both medals and coveted qualification places.
The Valledupar 2026 Para South American Games are expected to welcome more than 1,100 athletes from 12 countries across 13 sports, celebrating the very best of Para sport in South America.
The wheelchair basketball competition will feature two divisions:
Women's Competition
Men's Competition
The tournament will showcase the depth, talent and passion of wheelchair basketball across the Americas, providing a platform for both established and emerging programmes to compete at the highest regional level.
