The Lima 2027 Parapan American Games will bring men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball teams from across the Americas together to compete for continental honours.

The competition is also part of the qualification pathway for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. The top two women’s teams will qualify directly for LA28, while the men’s winner will advance to the final Paralympic Qualification Tournament, formerly known as the Repechage.
