The 2026 IWBF Women’s Repechage is the final qualification tournament for teams seeking to earn their place at the 2026 IWBF World Championships. The event will be held in Madrid, Spain.

The IWBF Repechage Tournaments are the final qualification stage for teams seeking a spot in major international wheelchair basketball competitions, such as the Paralympic Games and World Championships. These tournaments provide nations with one last chance to earn a place in these prestigious events, ensuring that the best teams from around the world are represented.
The inaugural Repechage Tournaments, which acted as the ultimate qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, took place in 2024.

The participating teams for the IWBF Women’s Repechage have now been drawn into the following groups:

Colombia

Group B
Argentina

France
Spain (Host)
Spain has been awarded the host nation position. As Spain had already qualified through their zone, the additional zonal place has been reallocated. Angola has replaced South Africa who withdrew from the competition.
The Women's Repechage provides the final opportunity for FOUR teams to secure their place at the 2026 IWBF World Championships in Ottawa, Canada.
