The 2026 IWBF Men’s Repechage is the final qualification event for the 2026 IWBF World Championships. Eight teams will compete for the remaining places at the World Championships, with the tournament hosted in Suphan Buri, Thailand.

The IWBF Repechage Tournaments are the final qualification stage for teams seeking a spot in major international wheelchair basketball competitions, such as the Paralympic Games and World Championships. These tournaments provide nations with one last chance to earn a place in these prestigious events, ensuring that the best teams from around the world are represented.
The inaugural Repechage Tournaments, which acted as the ultimate qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, took place in 2024.
Groups
The participating teams for the IWBF Men’s Repechage have now been drawn into the following groups:
Group A
Venezuela
Netherlands
Republic of Korea
Thailand (Host)
Group B
Brazil
Poland
Iran
South Africa
The final team will be confirmed following the IWBF Africa Championships, where the runner-up nation will secure the remaining place in the tournament.
Venezuela replaces Mexico, who withdrew from the competition.
The Men’s Repechage provides the final opportunity for FOUR teams to secure their place at the 2026 IWBF World Championships in Ottawa, Canada.
