2026 IWBF 3x3 Open World Championships

The 2026 IWBF 3x3 Open World Championships for Men and Women will take place from 26–28 November 2026 in Cairo, Egypt.

Hosted by the Egyptian Wheelchair Basketball Federation (EWBF), the event will bring together teams from around the world for three days of fast-paced 3x3 wheelchair basketball.

Competition Format

The IWBF 3x3 Open World Championships are delivered as an open competition, allowing nations worldwide to participate without qualification.

The 3x3 format is designed to:

• Provide more international playing opportunities
• Deliver a fast-paced, spectator-friendly game
