The best of European wheelchair basketball will descend on Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina for the 2025 IWBF European Championship Division A, where the top men’s and women’s teams will battle for continental honours and a place on the global stage.

Competition Overview

A total of 12 men’s teams and 5 women’s teams will compete in this elite championship, showcasing the highest level of competition in the Europe Zone.

Change of Venue – IWBF European Championship Men and Women Division A, Sarajevo

IWBF Europe and the Local Organising Committee of the European Championship Men and Women Division A announce that, due to unforeseen technical difficulties at the Ramiz Salčin Sports Hall, all games will now take place at the Hotel Hills Complex, Sarajevo.

As a result, both Court 1 and Court 2 will be located within the competition hotel complex (Arena Hotel Hills, Butmirska cesta 18, Ilidža, Sarajevo).

We apologise for any inconvenience this unavoidable change may cause and appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all teams, officials, and spectators.
