South Africa wins the African Championships and will represent Africa in London 2012

On Thursday (October 13)  South Africa defeated Morocco 83-54 in Rabat Morocco to win the African Wheelchair Basketball Championships. With this victory South Africa will again represent African Wheelchair Basketball as the sole qualifier for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

South Africa went undefeated this week in the tournament. The other teams competing were Nigeria and Egypt.

South Africa also represented the Africa in the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
