The Competitions Commission oversees the conduct of the main official competitions of IWBF, draws up the text of the Regulations governing the Competitions of IWBF, drafts the amendments to these regulations for consideration by the Executive Council, ensures compliance to the regulations and gives official interpretations of these regulations.
The Commission drafts the systems of competition for all World Championships of IWBF, the Paralympic wheelchair basketball tournaments for men and women, systems for new IWBF world competitions and draws up the calendar for IWBF competitions. A more detailed description of the Competition Commission's responsibilities may be found in the Constitution.
